Might be possible to drill a small hole in it, tap some treads, and put a set screw in to hold it. Guess mine's just tight.

After my new windshield was installed my mirror popped off every few seconds when I was listening to a heavy song. One day I just got pissed off and jammed that sucker on there (good thing I didn't break the windshield again) and heard a click, hasn't popped off since.

Cool

lol, that's a very common problem. Imagine my surprise when I crept up on these two cuties in a firebird. I'm chillin, hittin my bass and flashin some winks. I lean foreward to clean a bit of dust on my dash and WHAM! It swings down and hits me in the eye ^_^ No ****, it actually happened. Gave me a small shiner too! I got off lucky though, the girl I was winking at felt bad for me and we've been dating for over a year now ^_^ My fix, I dabbed some silicone adheasive on the little track and slid it into place.

Unhappy

Yeah, my rear view mirror feels kinda loose most of the time, courtesy lights stopped from working due to this ... only thing is that I don't have "fire-breathing amplifiers" nor "earth-shaking speakers"

Discount Auto Parts ... you know that "QuickSteel" stuff that goes on like epoxy and hardens like steel? They make a similar product to bond with plastics. I would put a few drops of one of those on there, slide it on, and let it dry for a few minutes in the sun. That ought to keep it on!

Guess I'm lucky, I'm hitting 140.7 legal on the dash from a sealed box, and have had it in a ported box doing 145s before, and my mirror doesn't even rattle much. I mean I can have the bass full blast above 140 dB and I can see perfectly out of the rearview mirror, just slightly blurry it barely rattles.
