I know pretty much nothing about systems...And my buddy wants to put some subs in the back of his buick park avenue (don't laugh...its a car)...He needs to know what he needs other then the head unit, subs, box and amp...We don't know what guage wiring to get...Could anybody help us out with this and how much it might cost, roughly? Also, hes looking into getting 2 rockford 12" HX2's...

 

You'll need a wiring kit for the amp and speaker wires. We'll need to know how much power you'll be running in order to tell you what gauge you'll need. Also, if you're going to be running a lot, then I would also invest in a capacitor.

 

once you figure out how much power you are going to be using, you can actually buy a wiring kit and it'll have what you need.
