yesterday when i got in my car after school i put the face of the raido on and hmm, no sound but the face still lit up (cds didnt work either). so i figure its a fuse or somethin and say screw it and make my way home. about 5 mins later the radio comes on and cds start workin, and maybe 10 mins later the m/f shuts back off. the radio is an outdated blaupunkt unit (dont know how old, it was in the car when i bought it 2 yrs ago) and i was wonderin what the problem could be. i didnt really think it could be the radio b/c when the sound goes out the radio itself stays lit and you can change the stations and pop cds in and out just no sound, so i figured its speaker related, but the speakers sound fine when the sound comes back. my boss said it prolly the radio he said somethin about frequency, but that wouldnt disturb the cds playin would it? anyway what do you guys think? as u can see car audio aint exactly my cup of tea, maybe this is my big excuse to buy that pioneer ive been wantin !
