Unhappy Mount amp on the hump

I want to mount my amp on the rear hump on the side facing the rear. I don't want to put it on top of the shelf/hump thing and also want it out of the way of the t-tops when I have them in the back. I figured I could put the amp vertically on the backside of the hump. Anyone do this? I'm kinda weary of drilling holes into the car because of rust. Any ideas anyone??

Thanks,

Jim

mount the amp against the back of the trunk well. All you have to do is make a bracket that will hold a piece of wood to drill into and mount those brackets under the plastic wingnuts used to hold the taillights. I got the idea from another member here... I believe it was LS1rulz but i could be mistaken.
