monsoon deck is cuttin out

i have a 98 camaro with under 50000 miles. lately when i put in a cd it will play for about 2 minutes and then start cutting out. it sounds like it is skipping. i suppose it plays fine for a few minutes then does this because it is getting hot? its not the cds, they work in other cd players. i used a laser cleaning disc and that didnt help. what could be the problem and how to fix it???

If you've already run a cleaner through it, and it didn't fix itself. Then you CD player is more than likely broken and will need to be repaired. If you are under warranty this is free. If not, then you will pay WAY more than it is worth fixing it. I suggest you look into buying an aftermarket CD player. I like Alpine and Pioneer, check them out at www.crutchfield.com , but PM me and I'll let you know where you can get a better deal. Both look nice, with great quality and have some more value oriented models.
