Looking for a new security system.

My UNGO MS2007 stopped working or at least the remote did. I cannot disarm the alarm through the remote yet the remote can receive a single from the alarm. I put the alarm in manual mode to disarm it and basically now serves as an automatic door locker. Looking to spend no more then $350 (absolute max). I would list the features I want but their all pretty standard in this price range.

Re: Looking for a new security system.

I have the viper 791XV which includes 2 way pager and remote start. It can be had for about $150 - $200... which including professional installation will probably bring you to around $400 - $450.

It paid for itself a month after I had it installed. I was in a subway when my Viper pager started going off. I ran to the parking lot to find a lady about to drive away after backing into my car.

Needless to say I caught her and she ended up giving me a great deal of cash towards my re-paint.

Good buy

Thats a great system. Cant wait to get mine. Where do you find it for that price? My Best Buy employee discount puts it at $180. In case I quit, I'd like to know who's willing to sell it basically for free.

Hey man,

This is the site I bought mine from. The price you see if for a brand new kit. The refurbished that they also sell runs for about 25 bucks less.

Cool thanks. Good to know there's deals like that to be had even without my discount.
