Looking for clear answers

I just did a search, but found no clear answers on what I needed.

I have a 94 wtih the 3 speaker set up, not the 5. I want to put a new HU in. Here are my queastions.

1. Will I need the "bose adaptor" if I have the 3 speaker set up, and still want to use them. (Not so worried about the speaker/sub in the rear.)

2. Do all of these adaptors cost $80 and up, or is there a cheaper way.

3. Is the rear sub/speaker wired different than the door spekaers? I was thinkign of takign it out fo the bose box, and putting it in the location behind the driver's seat.

4. IF I do decide to go the "El cheapo" way, and rewire the speakers to the new HU, will they soudn like crap??? I'm not worried about bass quality inthe factory speakers.

The main reason I want a HU, is so I can listen to THESE once again. I had them in my old RX-7, and can't wait to make them work.

If you get a new HU I would just buy the new adapter and save yourself the work of running all new wire (It will not be fun). I just put a new HU in and found the Scosche Interface Connector at Crutchfield. Yeah it was 50 bucks but it saved me A LOT of time and headaches. As for the other ?s I'll have to let someone else answer.

Thanks for the replies. I dotn mind paying an extra $50 or $60 for an adaptor. I just didnt want to spend $80 and up on the ones they sell in Circuit city and such.

What is the difrernce between the Scosche and the Other from the second link.

All I notice is that the PAC system comes with the harness to attach into the factory harness, instead of connectign the wires my self.

Also, about my other quastion. Can the rear sub/speaker be used like the others?? If I want to relocate it to the spot behind driver's seat, do I use the wires that its currently connected to, or is there a speaker wire harness already in place behind the seat locals?

I'm relocating it because I'm going to put my amp in the location that the speaker is in. And I will nolonger need it as a sub, but I'd like to get some kind of Rear sound.
