Well i got my hands on this older head unit but i wanted nothing serious since i want my car more for go and show and not sound.... will the jvc kd-sh55 fit my 2001 camaro?

 

It should fit, with the normal dash kit adapter. There's a plastic piece you'll have to cut out that the factory head unit screws into.

btw, I had that same head unit, maybe a model year ealier (i think mine was a 505), but as far as sound quality, it was a great unit... especially for the price
