For new - it's a good deal, for used - bad. They are selling new from $120-$150, used $50-$80

well since theyre "pretty much brand new" i would say yes, JL Audios sound amazing depending on what type of music you listen to, i know i switched over to MTX due to the fact i listen to more rock, JL audio isnt as accurate with the quicker bass, but ill admit when i listend to rap with my JL it pounded

I like rap and rock half and half. HARDCORE METAL when im chilling. Rap when im pimping ya know. haha I'm just kidding. But right now I have an 800 watt power acoustik amp pushing 2 mtx 10's thunder4000 or something (OLD subs) in a legacy bandpass box made for 2 12s that I put to plates in that make it hold 10's. I am replacing them with the JL 12w3s and running the same amp. It seems plenty powerful enough, Its enought to easily bottom out the MTX 10's without even having the gain all the way up.
