Interior lights stay on all the time

Today my interior light started staying on all the time. I had to pull the fuse to get them to go off. I'm thinking that it's either a short or a bad switch. anyone had this problem or have and suggestions? I'll most likely be taking a look at it tomorrow.

This may sound funny, but try opening and closing the hatch.

Have you tried manually pushing in the door switch on each door with your finger?

My Dodge Spirit has the same problem. Door switch needs to be depressed all the way in winter time or the light stays on.

My Camaro had the problem too but it wasn't the switch. It was still under warranty and took them a full day to find the short in my rear view mirror wiring.

something similar like that happened to me and it turned out to be a short on circuit 149 which ended being my trunk light grounded out.....took me like 2 days to figure out what it was and fix it

Didn't get a chance to look at it today, didn't even drive the car today. I'll be sure to look over all your suggestions tomorrow and let you guys know what I find. Thanks.

BTW, dimmer was the first thing I checked.

Fixed it today. The hatch latch/pin somehow got a bit mangled so I just bent it back into shape, works fine now. Thanks for all the suggestions.
