Right now I've got a JBL 600.1 pushing a 10" dual voice coil infinity beta in a infinity bandpass box. but i want some thing that pounds. I think I want to get 12's not sure what kind or where to get them from. Oh I also have MB quarts for speakers. thanks.

keep the 600.1 and just get a pair of efficient twelves. Something like Image Idq or Jlw3 or adire shiva. With that amount of power stay with a mid line driver. Don't try to get a big driver. they won't perform as well as lesser drivers with the power you have. You would be surprised how loud that 600.1 will get on the right set of drivers.

with that amp i would definatly consider a ported single 12 setup. there are a lot of subs that will sound great ported and get pretty dang loud. I am big fan of the IDQ, Type R, Shiva, W3 and Elemental K series. Out of them the Elemental K series and the Type R are probably the best for taking the power, getting loud and keeping great sound quality in a ported enclosure. The shiva is also a good choice but it doesn't really match the amp as well as the others and takes a little bigger box, but its efficiency will make up partially for getting less power.
