I need opinions!
I'm getting a driver's side Subthump box. (10")....what do you guys recommend?? I don't want anything crazy, just some decent bass....maybe a 200 watt amp with a Pioneer 10"....thats the only idea I've had so far....what do you think, people??
Re: I need opinions!
I can say for sure that JBL makes a reliable product.
I ran one free air with a 60hz test tone at max volume/max gain at around 800w RMS and it did not blow up.
Can't go wrong at that price either.

Re: I need opinions!
I wouldn't scrimp on the stealth box. Subthump makes a quality product, and being the owner of one, I (as all owners of the subthump boxes) can attest that these are top notch quality.
As far as the sub goes, as it has already been suggested, read what Subthump recommends for usage in the stealth box. I went with an Alpine Type-R. Bought it off of eBay for around $130 shipped a couple years ago. they've come down a touch in price, and gone up a bit in quality (used to be 300 watts RMS, but the current generation is 400(?) watts RMS).

The new Type R's are rated at 500w RMS/1500 peak. However, they are also much bigger than the old Type R's and they need at least 500 rms (If not more in the smallish Subthump box) to sound good.
