I don't know anything about radio installs, but would this work?
I have a 01' Camaro with the Monsoon sound system. It was the best factory radio setup you could buy when I purchased the car. I think there is a factory subwoofer mounted somewhere in the car and there is also the 12 Disc CD playier mounted in the trunk as well. The head unit has a CD player as well and I have the volume controls on my steering wheel.
I'd like to replace the head unit with something that will let me use my ipod with the car. Either a mini-din input or a ipod jack.
I absolutely want to keep my steering wheel controls working and would like to still be able to use my factory cd player in the trunk.
What would I need to do this? Will my cd player and steering wheel controls work with an aftermarket head unit?
help!

You can buy modules that will allow you to use the factory speakers, and steering wheel controls; but the CD changer will not work with an aftermarket headunit. You'd have to buy and install a CD changer from the same MFG as your aftermarket headunit.
