How long does the battery have to be disconnected for the monsoon system to stay off until i put a code in. I bought the car used and i don't have a code. I don't know if a code was ever programmed but i did unhook the battery for about 5 minutes one day, but don't know if this was long enough? Help me out, cuz i'm about to do a cam swap and will be unhooking my battery and i want my radio to come back on!! Thanks

 

ive had mine unhooked all winter , about 3 months....just hooked it back up ........and no problems with any code whatsoever

 

Mine never asks me for a code. But I can get you the theft unlock file I have in the morning for you. It is on my work computer. It will tell you how to unlock it.

 

I don't know if it has a theft code programmed in it right now. I bought it used and the guy might have programmed one, i dont know? But, when i do my cam i'm going to be unhooking the battery, and i don't want to lose my radio if the guy before me programmed one. But if you have a way to unlock it with that theft unlock file just in case that would be great. Thanks
