how do I wire this amp and sub combo
how do I wire this amp and sub combo
I have a RF 600.4 amp that it's going to connected to a 12" RF sub "HE2" with dual voice coil
Should I bridge the amp and then connect the sub using both set of coils. (what would that give me 2ohm?)
If I remeber right, the manual mention something like "do not wire any speacker at 2ohm if the amp it's bridged"... if that it's true... why??? what it's the worst thing that could happen?
how would you guys would wire this sub set-up?

The worst thing that can happen is that your amp will keep going into protection mode because you have a load that is too low for it to handle when it's bridged. You need to bridge your amp and get a sub with either dual 8ohm VC's in parallel or dual 2ohm VC's in series. Each will give you a 4ohm load. I would recommend getting a sub with dual 8ohm VC's ran in parallel.
