Just got my 96 with 5 speaker BOSE and I'm going to be replacing it all soon. I plan on getting an Alpine 7987, a component set in the front and midranges for the rear with a stealth box and either a 5 channel amp or a 4(or 2) channel and a dedicated sub amp.

Can I just unplug the rear "sub", replace the panel with a non bose one and then just route the wires from the amps to the speakers normally. If I decide not to amp the rear speakers, do i have to run new wires from my head to those, or can I still use the factory wires for them. What about the head unit wiring, do I get the normal 96 camaro one, or is there some sort of special bose harness needed.
