help please

went to best buy(dont even say it i already know) and got what they told me to get. i have an aiwa hu, Alpine SPS-170A 6.5" in the doors, i am installing eu-700's in the sail pannels(currently there is a set of pioneers), and a kenwood kac-8402 amp. i am not looking for thump just a decent sounding set up and i think this will give me what i am looking for (i could be wrong though). right now the way everything is wired ther is no adjustment from front to back or side to side. and i dont think this will work once the eu-700's are installed. can all this work together and how do i wire it if so. all speakers have there own wires ran individually to them right now, and obviously i dont know anything about stereos. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: help please

What model Aiwa Head Unit, and how do you have the signal going from the head unit to the amplifier?

Non fading/balancing issues are 99% based on signal.

its an aiwa cdc-x304, and i really dont know about the signal. best buy hooked everything up. i guess i might have to take it to a stereo shop and have them line it all out, but man i really dont want to spend the money on that.

Re: help please

I looked up your player, and it only has one set of Pre-Outs to hook up to the amp. If your shop used these to install the amp, then you will not have front to back fading, but you should still have left/right balancing. There is a way to remedy this situation with your current player, but it involves a bit of wiring. You could also just upgrade the head unit, wich would be the better choice

Agreed. I would replace it with one with more RCA outs.
