help a newbie out ;)

alright let me start by saying i honestly don't know a whole lot about car audio so hopefully yall can help me out a little.

i have a '95 camaro. when i bought it, it came with the stock delco headunit, 4 stock speakers, and an aftermarket 10 cd-changer. i did however replace all the stock speakers with some pioneers(4-ways in the front, 3-ways in the back).

i don't really listen to rap so i'm not interested in a WHOLE lot of bass but i do want a nice full sound. i'm thinking of replacing the stock headunit and maybe adding an amp to add a little more punch to the pioneers? i'd also like to keep the cd-changer as well, its pretty convenient imo.

so what do you guys think? any recommendations?

For a nice full sound I would say ditch 4way speakers and get some components. Anyways, a good cd player, stick with Alpine or JL, and for the subs, Fi SSds or Xs. Whats your price range?

An aftermarket head unit will produce better sound then the stock head unit. However unless you have really expensive speakers the system can still sound a little flat...

A 10" sub to an amp hooked to a headunit with pre amp outputs for subs will give you all the low notes so that you can turn the bass down on the other speakers (thereby lowering distortion) so they can concentrate the mids and highs (mids for the speakers built in woofer and highs for the built in tweeters). Adding a sub and amp will add depth to the sound system for the least price.
