Help with my new setup

My current setup has a few problems and I'm looking to upgrade a bit. It came with the Bose system, here is how the car sits right now:

Blaupunkt Orlando head unit. I have no complaints with it.

Rockford Fosgate components up front. Dont remember what model they are, the were ~170 when I bought them. They sound so great now.

Stock rear speakers.

NO Bose sub.

So, for under $350, what should I do to get the best sound quality? Im not a fan of loud bass, I think replacing the stock sub would do just fine for me. I just want nice sound that can be heard over my exhaust. I was thinking replacing the speakers and getting a 4 chanel amp. Any suggestions?

EDIT: I just read up a bit on the Bose system. What kind of effect would not having it installed have? Could it be the source of my speakers acting funny?

Re: Help with my new setup

if you like the front speakers, leave them. 4 channel amp, stealth box, 10in sub. unplug the rear speakers and just leave them alone.

Re: Help with my new setup

Id just spent the money you have for a sub, leave the rears alone since you want most of your sound comming from the front anyway, just get a nice small amp to power the comps up front and a nice d class sub amp and sub for the back
