Help me choose

Okay I want to redo my system. I am going to keep my Alpine 9807 Deck, and my Infinity Kappa speakers in the front and back with seperate tweeter units. Now all I need is amp(s) and sub(s)
I want something to pound clearly, but not break my budget TOO hard. I was thinking Alpine Type R sub (maybe 1 12?) with an amp to support then an amp for the speakers...any ideas?
Thanks!

I have a brand new in the box Phoenix-Gold 4-channel amp. I was going to install it in the hawk but I decided to go with a complete Monsoon overhaul with JL Audio and Alpine dvd head unit. This amp retails for 7 bills but I'd take 2 bills firm for a local guy like you. Also have Soundstream 6x9 3-way spl speakers, this stuff is top of the line.

I would suggest an Image Dynamics IDQ 12 for a sub. It does cost just a little more than a type r but well worth it imo. Very clean sounding sub that is capable of getting loud if need be.

I second the Image IDQ. Put it in a 2cuft ported box in the well area and put around three hundred watts on it. Tune the box low. Since you have Infinity highs why not consider the Infinity Perfect driver. They sound great in a sealed or ported application and don't take up to much room.
