Hi all. I am planning on buying a 1994 yellow z28 camaro, and I need a sound system. I want to know what are the best 15 inch subs to buy (but not that expensive) that sound the best, and the best amps to buy (but not that expensive). And I was wondering , how many 15 inch subs will fit in a 1994 camaro? All information will be greatly Appciated!!!




P.S. When I mean good amps, I mean ones with alot of BASS!

How much are you REALLY looking to spend? Sounds like you are mainly looking for SPL. Yes yes, and sound good too..... I think any more then a pair of 15"s would require some MAJOR modifications. So a pair of 15s each powered by their own amp. Have you replaced your other speakers yet? Got an amp on them? What?!?! How do you expect to hear your music over all that bass?! Let me know a ballpark estimate for your budget and we can get started.

No! No! They don't each NEED their own amp. You said you wanted some bass! Also, you did say ampS. Are you looking for an amp to power your other speakers as well?

Ok. Budget? If you got the cash, the best your gonna get, without going overboard, would be a pair of Elemental Designs A-series subwoofers powered by a JBL BP1200.1. If you can spare more then that, upgrade the amp. Must be a single channel amp though, as almost every 2-channel amp is only stable to 4 ohms when bridged. You will be running at 2 ohms.

One brahma would make some nice bass.

I can get two 15s in the well area. You could fit more if the box spilled onto the back deck behind the seats. But I have never wanted to do that. Here's a pic of the dual 15s in the well.
