Is there a difference between the stock CD player from a 10 speaker system and a 4 speaker system in a firebird? In other words would a cd player from a trans am with the 10 speaker option fit in a firebird with the 4 speaker system?

Yes, it will fit. The only difference is that in the case of a POS Monsoon equipped car you have the POS Monsoon amp connected to the POS factory HU.
