Head unit blew up. Need a new one

Any suggestions? I am looking mainly at a CD/MP3 player. What are good players. Looking to spend about 300-400 on one. Thanks.

Personally, I like the way this one looks:

My brother had this one and it was pretty cool looking

Edit: I also did a quick search and you can buy these on ebay brand new for cheaper. A website on ebay has the first one brand new for $304

Go with Alpine or Pioneer. I've had good experiences with both. The Alpines in the $300-$400 range are a better unit than the Pioneers, but one of the top Pioneers will be my weapon of choice once I start setting up my new system.

Well I didnt feel like spending too much so I went ahead wiht the Pioneer DEH-P5500MP. Pretty nice looking and cost me less than $200. Rest will go towards mods.
