Have a quick question about my Pioneer Premier DEH-850MP??

It's a stupid question but I need to know how to set the clock. I'm at college and the instructions are home and I need to change the clock for daylight savings. Thanks for the help.

Go to Pioneer's site and see if the owner's manual is online.

Or, I can just tell you.

Turn the unit off and hold down the "Function or Program(basically not the "Audio")" button for 2-3 seconds. This will get you into the setup menu from there you can set the clock and many other useful functionc .

I don't have the 850, or the 8500 but both mine and my wife's head units must be turned off, then you hold the "Audio" button and the clock will come on and start to flash. Use the up and down arrow to change the time and the right and left to move from hours to minutes.

But that's our head units...I guess yours could be different.

I have the 750, and have been trying to figure out how to set the clock for awhile now...thanks for the tip.

Another thing I want to know how (or if it's possible), to do, is dim the screensaver thingy. At night, that thing is so bright. I usually end up flipping the face down.

On my head unit (KEH-P6010), when the head unit if off, and I hold the Audio button, the clock will blink. I continue to hit the Audio button and eventually, it will come to DIMMER OFF, if I turn it on, then when I turn on the headlights, the face dims slightly. Try that and see if it helps.
