I did it. It works great and I have a compass and the outside temperature. you have to change the plug and run a wire for the temperature probe. Another cool thing is that my map lights are leds instead of bulbs. I found the whole thing on ebay. Try a search for gentex mirror. I was tired of having to flip the old mirror now those days are gone.
