Found SUB now which AMP??
Found SUB now which AMP??
I've decided on 2 Diamond Audio 10" TDXD2's. It says they have a depth of 8.9 inches. These are big subs by any chance would these fit in a pair of subthump's stealth box with no problems?
I hear these subs take a lot of power, what would be a sufficient amp to go to these two subs? OHM ratings, etc.?
Any good online places to check pricing besides crutchfield?
TIA

Ebay is the cheapest place to find anything. If you get the dual 2 ohm version, you will want to wire the voice coils together in series and then the subs together in parallel. Final impedence will be 2 ohms. If you get the dual 4 ohm verison, you will want to wire the voice coils in parallel and then the subs together in parallel. Final impedence will be 1 ohm. If you go that route, make sure your amp is 1 ohm stable. JBL BP1200.1 can be had off ebay for $275 and outputs over 1200WRMS and is stable to 1 ohm....
I am not kidding and am not misinformed, there are only 4 speaker manufacturers in the world today, and the only one any of you probably know is rockford fosgate, most of the car audio companies get theirs from either rockford or a european company called eminence, I was doing some demo cars for eclipse and had to order from the supplier, they are the ones that let me know
