i am putting in a 4 channel fosgate amp that has a set of pass through rca jacks on it. should i use this for the sub amp or run a whole rca pair from my radio the sub amp?? i am not interested in making a show car stereo so the look doesnt matter. i am only interested in a decent sounding system and want to know if this is ok or will there be some degridation?? thanks.

I would use the RCA outs from your HU. Even if they are not dedicated subwoofer output RCAs. This will give your setup a little more flexability than using the thru-puts on your amp.
