Trying to decide on which components to run... I'm not going to be using a sub if that matters. My setup is probably going to be:

Kenwood x679
Kicker 04SSMB6 6.75" mid's in the sail pannels
And either a JL 300/4 or 2 JL 300/2's

My amp selection depends on two things. 1) Is 150 watts for the Kappas or the Focals too much? 2) Is 75 watts enough for the Kickers? I had one person tell me that the Kickers will need a lot of power to be heard...

I listen to punkish music (Alkaline Trio, Dropkick Murpheys, etc) and there really isnt all that much bass to it, that's why I'm going with mid bass in the sail pannels and no sub...
