I've got the factory HU cd player and would like to add a changer. The harness in the back has what appears to be the hook-up for the factory changer. Can I plug in a changer and will my HU control it? I've never seen this set up but the harness is there.

 

Unfortuneately, the '97-early '99 Monsoon CD HU's will NOT control the stock 12 disc changer. You have 2 options, change over to a Monsoon tape deck (ALL Monsoon tape decks will control the stock 12 disc changer) or get a CD HU out of a mid '99-up model.
