Factory CD player still not working.

Factory CD player still not working.

I have a 2001 Z28 with the factory Pioneer CD changer in the trunk that stopped working(I could not get it to operate with the steering wheel controls)I replaced it with another exact cd changer and now I can get the new one to operate from the steering wheel control but it will not play any CDs,I can change from one cd to the next but it will not play any of them ANY HELP.THANKS

Now the changer will not do nothing.

you can keep messing with it but why not just get updated technolgy instead of fixing old. You can get a new Head unit that will play MP3's with USB connections and HD tuner and even get the Steering wheel control adapter all for under $200. Plus you'll be getting much better sound quality that the factory delco unit.

Where can I get a head unit and steering wheel control adapter from for under $200 and do you think the head unit is the problem?THANKS
