Will my '95 Z28's Stereo bolt into my '97 Camaro's dash and plug in with no wiring problems?

The '95 is in storage and as I recall it is a lot more work to get the stereo out of it and it also has a funny curve on the top right where the dash contours around it???

The actual situation is that my '95 has a nice Alpine head unit in it with an adapter, and I don't know if I can use the same adapter for the '97 as the Alpine is already installed in for the '95... I'm taking a wild guess the wiring is plug and play, but wild guesses haven't always worked out for me the greatest in the past...

 

trim piece is different if i recall but wiring should be same
