dual gauge pod install...

got my wife a dual gauge pod for her A-pillar on her 2000Z
got 2 autolite phantom gauges
ive got an electric water temp, and an electric tranny temp.

anybody installed this before ?
it says i might have to drill and tap the tranny pan for the temp sender, anybody else do this
where is the best place to run it to(and the water temp), and how did you do it......looking for ideas

There is a plug on the side of the trans that you can put the sender in, as to its location, I'm not really sure
