Does bose sub have to be bypassed?

I have an RF 12" sub I want to put in my car, but do I need an adapter to bypass the 6 inch bose sub in the back, or can I just unplug it and install the sub like you would do in any normal car?

Re: Does bose sub have to be bypassed?

Depends...are you still running the factory deck? Either way if you have Sub outputs you dont need to bypass it. If you still have the factory deck...then you might have to tie in to one of your rear speakers (if you have them) Just remember that your bose sub is amped. So you want to tie onto the lead wires...

I have an aftermarket deck. I bought the pac-oem connector when I added that. So now I guess I just have to install the sub like normal. Thanks for the reply.
