disabling stock alarm?!! need to know how!!

Well my key fob has stopped working and the alarm sets everytime that i lock the doors and close them.

So i was wondering if there is a fuse anywhere that i can pull to disable it to stop it from doing that.

There are a couple diff ways to go about. The key pellet is a resistor, you can match that resistance value and put that in the dash so that the key cylender sees that all the time (like the key is always in the ignition). It should be an orange insulated wire near the steering column. I believe there were 16 diff resistences. If your key is bad or the key cylender is bad this will fix without disabling the factory alarm. If you want the factory alarm disabled its actually pretty cool trick. Its been awhile so if this doesnt work its a veriationoor open, turn ignition on then off, pull (radio) fuse out of fuse panel, turn ignition on, push unlock on door... you should here interior curtesy ding 2,3, or 4 dings. 1 is off 2 is I think keyless entry only, 3 is alarm keyless, and 4 is passive arm alarm keyless. Keep pushing unlock till apropriate # of dings. turn ignition off, put radio fuse back in.
