DEI Alarm install in a 1995 trans am

Hey guys, me and a friend just started tackling an alarm install for my car its a Hornet(DEI) 554t w/remote start. I wasn;t planning on using the remote start but maybe will stick it in in the future. However I need to know:

What to splice the wires to that Brent Frankers guide has spliced to the BCM in the 96+ guide?

How to wire the power lock relays?

How to wire the starter kill?

Other than that the install is done and I can't find how to do these things from searching the net or the board. If anyone can answer some or all of the questions that would be great.

Sup Brian,

I have the same alarm but havent had a chance to install it. How do you like yours so far? I'm in the same boat as you as I dont know what to splice thats why I havent gotten around the install yet.

Just curious, will you be able to do a write up on your Laram install as I would like to read that and maybe use that info to install my same alarm?

Thanks.

I could try to do a write up, unfortunately I dont have a digital camera so that doesn't help much. So far its very cool, pretty loud, and the 2-way remote was very nice and you will just need an extra automotive relay for the trunk release(just follow brent frankers guide for that). Here is some info I just got from the guy I bought it from on ebay:

I got the door lock relays working today so now all i have left are the hood pin, remote start module, and mounting the valet switch.

If you have the keyless entry for your car you will need the dei door lock relay which is about $5 on ebay ( I can get the model # if you need it) and remove the passenger side kick panel and pull out the black box right beind the kick(thats the keyless entry module) and then just tap into those wires. If you need to know what one to tap into just lmk and ill go out to the car and write it down.

I'll definitely look you up as I'm in between projects right now and getting my car running again is the top priority... but as soon as I get started with the alarm install I'll email you for some help.

thanks.
