Coustic Speakers?? Help...
Hi everyone, I saw in a Summit Racing catalog that coustic speakers sell a 6.5 that has 2 ohm impedance. I hate stock monsoon speakers next to the rear seats because they blow all the time. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about these speakers or if cousic speakers would be a step up or down from the stock ones. If not does anyone else know of any other 6.5 with 2 ohm impedance that work good in place of stock ones? Thanks here is the link and specs for the speakers.

Keith,
I'll try to help you out as much as poss but I am not too familiar with the Monsoon systems. The stock speakers are built in with the kind of power the monsoon HU is going to put out being taken into consideration. I belive they are a paper coned speaker which are pretty efficient. Any speaker that you replace it with may last longer and be built better but....prob won't give you any better performance.
