Component speakers

I'm almost done with my system. I've been building it from a budget system to a high end system little by little. I have the HU, real good sub, and amps. Right now I have pioneers 6 3/4 in the front and back, and they sound OK. I have a pair of 6 1/2 Kicker speakers that I bought from a friend that sounded great in his car, but I can't use them because I need an extra 1/4" to mount it. Is there anything I can use to adapt this for the back speakers? My other question is what are some of the better component systems? My plan is to put a good component speaker in the front with the tweet in the A-pillar, and use the kickers that I have and adapt them to use them only as rear fill. Thanks for the help!

you could pickup a set of 6 1/2 speaker spacers. Best Buy sells them for 13 bucks they come in 1/2" or 1". Just screw the spacer to the dor panel, then drop the speaker in.
