Choice between Subs

Well, I can get buy one get one free on two different types of subs.

the first is any of the MTX subs on this page:
http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/Searc...t%20MTX%20subs

the second are Total Mobile Audio 10" subwoofers.
now these are supposedley made by JL, but they seem kinda cheap... i would have listened if they had them out in a box at the store, but they just had them boxed up, not hooked up or anything. has anyone ever heard these?
http://www.totalmobileaudio.com/prod...php?sub_id=416

there's the link for those subs.

thanks!

I personally don't like MTX, and the Other just seems like a low end garbage Sub.

I'd rather spend the money and go with Elemental Designs Subs

You should also probably take a look a what your Sub Box calls for in terms of volume and Sub size You've show us a 10" and 12" Sub selection, and given no details as to the box. That will also help to determine the right Sub

Yesterday, I had a dude try to tell me that "BUMPER" brand subs are the best in the world.

Stick with what you know and what has a good reputation. You get what you pay for with car audio.

I've had good luck with the MTX series. They are a couple years old though. Sounded awesome in my old Camaro.

They are for sale

well, i ended up finding 2 10" fosgate subs in a sealed box, with an amp, and all the wiring, for $140. put the box in my t-top well (don't have t-tops...), they hit pretty well, they aren't that apparent in rock music though...
