now that it's come and gone... what's the hottest deck for this year?

 

In SQ - Nakamichi (CD500, etc), Eclipse (CD7000, CD5000), Newer Pioneer Premier series. Top sellers - probably units with DVD-drive.

 

I'm liking the new Alpine with small screen on right hand side. Also Clarion has some interesting decks coming out with high preout voltages. Zapco had a radio a ces but we probably won't see it for quite some time.

 

pioneer premier has always been decent. too bad they don't make the navigation units. so with hd radio and hdd drives being offered by many is that really the latest thing?
