CD Changer add on?

My new 02 came with a 500 watt Monsoon eight speaker sound system and I love it. Only problem is that I didn't get it with the CD changer in the trunk and now I'd like to add it.

Has anyone done this? If so was it difficult running the wires and intigrating it in the existing system?

The wiring harness is already there. You just need to get the factory changer.

I have a similar question, I would like to know what i need to do to wire the factory changer to an after market radio, it can be done i beleive.

As for your question, i beleive u would need the factory harness, and run it under the carpet, to the back ect. the work is kinda a pain, removing trim, lifting the carpet ect. The thing that comes to my mind is are the radios the same? Do both radios have the plug in the back, for the changer? WEll hoped that helped.

Anyone that can help me with my question speak up thanks...
***decided to post on here to save room since questions are similar***

The factory changer cannot be used with an after-market HU.
