cap help

i have a jl 1000/1 hooked up to a 12 w7 a 300/4 hooked up to 6 jl mids and highs. 2 in the doors one in the back. yellow top batt. 4 gauge wire t othe back from the batt. and then 4 ga. wire for power and ground to the amps.
will a stinger 1 farad cap be enoufe or do i have to get a bigger one??

Caps are a HUGE waste of time and money. Besides I'm pretty sure that JL amps have regulated power supplies and stiffening caps don't help amps like that. What you need to do is look into getting a high output alternator.
