I know the opening for our stereo's is a 2 din opening, my question is will I be able to mount two single din components in that opening. Specifically, a DVD player and a in dash monitor. I know you can buy all in ones but I am hoping this way will be cheaper. Also, if you can do this, does anyone have pictures of this type of setup or somethign similar.

 

The opening is not 2 din. It is 1.5 din.

 

The opening is 1.5 DIN. Not double DIN.

 

It can be done tho. Dr Millhouse (ls1.com) had an Alpine set up in his Camaro, I believe hes selling the trimp piece as well...
