can i PLEASE get some help?!?!

i asked this question over a month ago, and never got any help. so i figured id try once again. i have 94 Z with the 3 speaker bose CD. but i bought a bose CD from a 96 along with the 2 rear speakers. i want to know how to hook up the rear speakers so i can duplicate the bose 5 speaker system. any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks!!

Well a.f.a.i.k., In order to run the speakers amplified, you need to purchase a 95+ rear sub also. The pre '95 ones don't have the amp inside them in order to power the sail speakers. Also, I think you're going to have to change out all the wiring to the newer style, but I'm unsure about this. When me and a buddy were trying to trouble shoot a few things with my bose system, we tried to use his rear sub (He has a '94 3 speaker bose w/tape and I have a '95 5 speaker bose w/tape) but the connectors on the wiring harnesses were different so I believe you'll end up having to change this as well.

If I were you, I'd just completly scrap even trying to use the factory Bose setup. It just has too many problems for it's cost and you can usually get far better results going aftermarket with less money.
