Re: bypass parking switch on double din radio

take your parking brake wire and ground it to the ground wire and it should bypass it. i had to do that for my jensen in my camaro and it works just fine

Re: bypass parking switch on double din radio

I know this is old and may or have may not have beeen figured out but just wanted to add depending on how old the double din grounding the parking brake wire doesnt work anymore, the newer units when hooked up correctly require you to engage parking brake, release it, then re-engage it, some people make a switch or you can buy whats they call a "micro bypass". I picked up one for my new DDIN I put in my 2K camaro for 20 bucks of Amazon.
