Box for Tempest

Alright. My 15 " tempest is suppose to arrive here Wendsday so I'm trying to get a head start on my box. I took some measurements and and picture to try and let you see it.

Tell me what you think I should do. I would like to go ported, but this is my first box and i'm not sure how everything works with ported so you'd have to explain it all to me.

around 3 cubes sealed or around 4 cubes ported will be great. A single 4 inch port may be OK, but you might have a little bit of port noise.... twin 4 inch ports is a little overkill, but you would be garanteed no port noise. a single 3x6 slot port should be great. If you have never built your own ported box before i would recommend a 30-33 Hz port tune.

You can, but ordinary pvc pipe doesn't have a lip so when you stick it in a box it might look ghetto. Real ports aren't that expensive if you don't think you want to tackle a slot port. If you find the right size, you can attach pvc pipe onto a regular port to extend it if needed.
