bose speaker question

bose speaker question

can someone tell me what all the speakers do in a '97...there's the front two, middle two and rear two (i think)...what are they all for? i'd like to know so i can decide which ones to keep for my project car...the rest i'll probably sell or something...thanks

the front speakers consist of a woofer and a tweeter. The middle speakers are midbass drivers and the rears are 3 to 4.5" speakers. If you plan on upgrading, just replace them all. Actually, you can just replace the front with a good set of components and you can leave the middle and rear out.

well im not upgrading...im parting out my car and was wondering which speakers (2 or 4) to keep for my project car...if i were to keep 4 speakers should i keep the fronts and middles? thanks
