Boosting FM Reception

Is there any way to improve on the stock receprion? I've got an aftermarket antenna on it now and reception stinks, I can get stations from 75 miles away in the house on my stereo on which I have an amplier but I'm only getting like 25 miles from my car stereo, Do I have any choice besides getting a power antenna?

I once saw a booster for the car stereo at Radio Shack. I don't know anything about it except it was a little box that I guess you would put under your dash somewhere after hooking it up to your head unit. Other than that I really have no idea.

Go here: www.installdr.com and look around their troubleshooting section. They have some info on antennas. I've tried a couple of the antenna signal boosters, and they don't work. Save your money. CCrane sells a high performance car radio antenna, but people think it's ugly, so you might not like it's looks. I thought about buying one, but I also think it's ugly. I might put it on a truck or something.
