blew out drivers rear in stock bose/delco system, working on passenger side
my rear drivers side speaker in my '95 camaro is blown... sounds REALLY bad, and my rear passenger side is on its way out. i think i've blown the bass out of my front passenger speaker. this is what happens when you always have the bass at 100% on the stock delco/bose system
what are my options? i really am not an audio guy, and i'm on college budget. i'll probably be getting a new headunit eventually because the stock one no longer reads CD's. i've been told that the stock speakers have built on amps... will this complicate things?
basically i'm looking for a speaker with as-good or better sound quality than the stock delco/bose setup, and will not blow out while running around town with the music up and the bass at 100% on the stock system... but its gotta fit into the college budget. what are your suggestions?
