I have the 12 disk cd changer, 10 speaker monsoon system. It sounds ok, but I heard that you cant just swap an aftermarke speaker or amp. I have a jbl amp and would love to stick some good speakers and subwoofer in here, but do I have to swap everything out, the head unit and all.
And where is the amp located for this car?
any expertise or knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

 

I'm pretty much in the same boat as you are, but I can help you out with the location of the amp. It's located where your spare tire is....so what I have been told.
