Biggest baddest 10's?

Right now I'm running a pair of the brand new Fosgate HE's from Best Buy on a 600W amp. What would be a nice step up from these aside from the obvious 12's?

Uhm.. you're basically runnin the base model RFs... Almost any of the upper level speakers from any of the MFGs there... but what are your goals, and limitations? Namely, SPL or SQ? Price???

Theres this lil shop with this guy who custom makes speakers, its off of Lee Rd. by Edgewater. Instead of a manget driving the speaker a servo motor does which gives you almost and endless range of mhz. Two tens will hit harder then any 12's that I've ever heard, and I've heard almost every common speakers (i.e - Rockford, Pionner, Alpine, Cerwin, Bose, JL, Mtx, JBL...ect). Its not cheap by any means but if you want something that sounds better then most and is different from anyone else then I suggest you give him a call. The subs are in a bandpass box, you can design the box anyway you want and its constructed of flexiglass, and the subs run off any common amp

So the JL's are a bada$$ set up huh? Any other suggestions?

btw I have my current 10's in a subthump box. With the room given (under 1 cu ft I believe) will the JL's still perform well?

Is this the going price for these suckers? Man I've been out of the loop too long...

What's a god sized amp to push these? 800W...1000W?

Also, where would be a good place to get a 1/2 farat capacitor? I know best buy and circuit city carry them, but are there any good names online that you could suggest?

Yes, that is a decent price for those subs. I am putting 800W into mine and my friend is putting 1000W into his. Lightning Audio has good caps.

There's another link for you. I have 2 10w6v2's in a subthump milhouse box and they slam with awesome sq. If I were you id look into some Elemetal Designs 10a's.

These are suppose to be some mean little woofers for the money. Image Dynamics is known for making good subs and for $100 each on the link I have below I think it would be hard to compete with them from the subs I have looked at in that price range:

Got any pics or any more info about this?

Phoenix Gold did that back in the 90's and if I remeber correctly they called it the cyclone. The sub itself took up .5 cube displacement though which was one downside to it.

Here's some pics of it: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=18803
